Why should you attend?
The drinking water that we took for granted for so long is being threatened. In the years to come, the climatic changes will bring a series of drought periods and extreme precipitations resulting in flooding. In worst cases this will impair municipality's ability to support aqueduct system or impair your private well.
Reducing our water consumption will be regularly required to deal with these thriving incidents. Changing our consumption habits now will allow us to better cope with an uncertain future.
Who is this for?
All citizens consuming drinking water at their residence and, the ones interested to collect rainwater to reduce their drinking water consumption.

Approximately 1.5 hour
What to expect?
The workshop objectives are:
1. Raise participants' awareness of domestic water use in homes.
2. Enable participants to discover behaviors within their control that can be easily modified.
3. Using a volume guide, participants will be able to estimate the drinking water savings they can achieve by changing certain habits.
4. List simple and immediate solutions that will allow participants to improve their water conservation strategies.
