Exploring our water consumption habits?

In 2026 domestic water consumption has never got this much attention throughout the province of Quebec. Access to drinking water is threatened either by climate change, which is depleting our region's groundwater, or by municipal infrastructure reaching the end of its useful life or production capacity.

At Hemmingford, we care about using drinking water in a responsible way. Whatever is your current personal water consumption, it is always possible to optimize the way you use that precious water. To identify the good practices to adopt and plan water infrastructures for the future, our municipal team need to develop a clear picture of where water is being used. An online survey is now available to develop a better understanding of our individual water consumption. This collective initiative involves multiple municipalities and will help to target best practices for saving water without depriving oneself.

We need at least 235 survey respondents to collect significant data with an error margin of 5% or least.

The survey questionnaire is accessible until October 30. It is anonymous and only aggregated data will be shared. It is best to access it using a computer. You can access the online survey right away through the following link:
